Buildings Insurance Secured in just 1 day

A broker approached us for support with a client seeking a £63,000 commercial mortgage to purchase a new premises to trade from. The property was currently operating as a retail shop, with the client intending to convert it into a hairdressing salon.

A day before the client was due to complete, it was identified that buildings insurance was required in order to finalise the purchase. As the client was in the process of completing a commercial mortgage with us, buildings insurance needed to be in place prior to completion. With very little time to spare, the policy had to be arranged urgently to avoid delays to the transaction.

At 5pm, we referred the client to our trusted insurance partner, Coversure, to arrange buildings insurance as a matter of urgency. By the following morning, cover had been secured, allowing the client to complete on their commercial mortgage and successfully purchase the premises.
