A Day In The Life Of…..

Question: Wake up time?

DM: Given the role being so diverse, every day is different however my day will always start with a big hello to my little girl, my partner Brooke & not forgetting our adorable puppy, Lewie.

Question: What do you have for breakfast?

DM: Never really been a big breakfast eater however with my healthier head on ill enjoy a banana, but with the temptation of a McDonald’s drive thru on my route or the delicious bacon sandwich being offered at most events I attend, I can’t say I always have my healthier head on!

Question: What do you listen to on your commute?

DM: To be honest I don’t tend to listen to the radio or music when I’m driving, I see it as an opportunity to work from “my office” & catch up on our CrystalCast and Webinar’s to keep up to date with an ever-changing industry. Saying that though I have been known to unleash my inner diva voice to a good Ballad & sing my heart out

Question: What does your average day look like for you?

DM: A typical day well, really there’s two types of days mainly. First off is the days I go to broker meetings. I’ll organise to be in a certain location & schedule 3 or 4 appointments in that area a day. Meeting Brokers at their offices and learning about their businesses and adding value in any way I can.

The second is going to events. I LOVE events as I consider myself to be a bit of a show pony (self-proclaimed) this involves meeting lots of new and existing brokers and build relationships. At the events I tend to do a platform presentation discussing and educating  how amazing Crystal are.

Question: What’s your favourite thing about your job?

DM: No two days are the same in my role and I love it! I couldn’t be tied to a desk I love the freedom I have & the people I meet

Question: If money was no object, what would you be?

DM: I’d probably be a property developer. ( can’t say singer as I have a horrendous voice) I love interior design and being able to vision and design a property and then see it come to life internally and externally is something I want to get in to in the future at some point.

Question: What do you do to wind down after a long day?

DM: The old me would say go to the gym and work out and get rid of the stress and tension from the day but now nothing beats coming home and getting a cuddle from my little girl.

Question: What advice would you give to someone wanting to work at Crystal?

DM: The only advice I would give them would be if  you’re lucky enough to become a part of the amazing family that is Crystal, cherish every moment, the work ethic and family feel in this organisation is second to none, I wouldn’t have it any other way.
